Short Description
Responsibilities This individual will be reporting to the IT infrastructure manager and will: 1. Develop network design specifications based on server requirement study, and data analysis. 2. Manage/coordinate network and server upgrade projects, which may involve internal staff, contractors, out-sourced developers, etc. Ensures optimal project communication and control and that projects are executed within pre-set constraints. 3. Develop and execute a corporate data management strategy. Ensures the company's Oracle database systems are well structured and maintained to deliver maximum performance. 4. Facilitate enterprise-wide applications integration and structured data analysis by developing cohesive data storage facilities and operational application multi-tier server structures. 5. Participate in Internet technology deployment, web site development and inter-organizational system integration projects. 6. Develop methods, techniques, guidelines and procedures for optimized network management. 7. Evaluate technologies used in the Company and makes recommendations for technology acquisitions that are relevant and appropriate to requirements. 8. Liaise with external vendors, contractors and consultants as and when necessary 9. Maintain current level of knowledge in the development in information technologies and ensure that personal training and capabilities are kept in pace with Company requirements. 10. Perform such other duties as assigned by the IT infrastructure manager from time to time 11. Follow very structured governance policies – within an agile environment
